seconding pretty much all of your feelings on TSOA. I devoured it on a road trip a few years ago and felt drunk on it, then took a step back (after lending my copy to a friend who was not quite as into it as I had been...) and was like, "okay FINE, this isn't... but.... it made me feel so many things!!!"
I've been meaning to read The Penelopiad and this makes me want to even more!
