In one of those odd "hear a song for the first time and suddenly you're hearing it everywhere" coincidences, I only heard of Theosophy and Helena Blavatsky for the first time last week, so it was wild to then immediately encounter another reference to it in this! (I guess Gurdjieff was part of a splinter group of Theosophy before he got enterprising and started his own, shall we call it, Group With Eccentric Philosophies...?)

This is an area I don't know nearly enough to comment on, but it does seem to be coming to my attention with odd frequency over the past few months. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
