So, I literally just finished watching another Harold Lloyd movie - The Milky Way, a "talkie" from 1936 - and, to extrapolate from a very small sample size, there was definitely a leap in actors' (or, more specifically, actresses') On-Screen Glamorousness sometime between the mid-20s and -30s??
