I am not normally the type of person who remembers fictional characters' birthdays, but today just happens to be the 29th birthday of renowned scientist and future saver of the world, Dr. Newton ("call me Newt, only my mother calls me doctor") Geiszler.

In other words, this is going to be a love letter to Pacific Rim.
